Carolina Pro Musica - In Concert
Carolina Pro Musica, a local chamber ensemble, will present a concert of classical works at the Main Library on Tuesday, May 9, at 7 pm. The concert will also feature bass/baritone Carl DuPont, a UNCC School of Music faculty member and international vocal artist.
The performance will include known 18th century composers, such as Bach, Handel & Telemann. The artists will also discuss the story behind each work, as well as the instruments/vocals used in each work.
Carolina Pro Musica was established in 1977 to promote the performance of music written before 1800 through the use of historic instruments and/or copies and in the performance practice of the periods in which the music was written.
