Writers' Workshop: Writing That Captures Readers
On Tuesday, September 25 at 6:30 p.m., award-winning author Michelle Buckman will once again facilitate our Writers' Workshop. In this workshop, she explains why some books and articles grab readers' attention and others don't.
Buckman will take you through writing examples and exercises to show you how to draw in readers. This program will look at the minute details of sentence structure and word choice that make all the difference between mediocre writing and great writing. As such, these exercises will be applicable to almost every category of writing.
This program is free to the public and appropriate for ages 16 and up. Those planning to attend must RSVP by calling 704-868-2164, option 4 by Friday, September 21, as space is limited.
This program is made possible thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Gaston County Public Library.
