Retrieving the Lamb
Retrieving the Lamb has been called one of the best Christmas plays ever written. A small church is attempting to put on its annual Christmas pageant, normally a well-managed undertaking; however, this year everything seems to go awry--- from personal conflicts to natural disasters. In a situation that is sometimes hilarious and sometimes serious, we learn about ourselves and the meaning of Christmas.
The full-length play by NC playwright, Judy Simpson Cook, will be done as a Performance Reading on November 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Main Library in the auditorium.
This event is FREE to the public and appropriate for ages 16 and up.
